Laura Lisa (Allen) Mays

Mrs. Laura Lisa Allen Mays, age 68, of Patterson, passed away Thursday morning (2/8/24) at her residence following an extended illness.

Born July 3, 1955, in St. Albans, Vermont, she was a daughter of Roger Allen and the late Gloria Thompson Allen. She grew up in Vermont and had lived in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Kokomo, Indiana, and Macomb, Oklahoma before moving to Pierce County in 2022. She had worked as a waitress and in several factories through the years but had also been a longtime housewife.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas Mays.

Survivors include her father and stepmother, Roger and Dee Allen of Michigan; 3 sisters, Deborah Allen of Michigan, Robin Allen of Oklahoma, and Linda Perona (husband Darren) of Wisconsin; brother, Rodney Allen of California; special niece, Donna Mascaretti of Patterson; great nephew and niece, Timothy Williams (wife Amanda) of Hortense and Monica Williams of Patterson; great-great nephew, Jase Cheshire of Hortense; and several other relatives.

Memorialization is by cremation.
