Hart Funeral Home is proud to be locally owned and operated, and offer a devoted, Christian staff, committed to providing old fashioned service with modern conveniences.

Established in March 2012, we are honored for the opportunity to serve Pierce County and the surrounding area of Southeast Georgia. As we grow with our community, we are committed to setting the standards for compassionate, caring and professional service.

Adam Hart began his career in funeral service while in high school working at several funeral homes in southeast Georgia and in the Atlanta area. He and his wife, Amber, pursued their dream and became the owners of the funeral home in 2012. The funeral home was started in 1988 as Dixon-Bowen-Taylor Funeral Home and became Smith Funeral Home in 2001.

We offer a range of personalized services and merchandise to suit your family’s wishes and requirements, including traditional funerals, cremation and memorial services, and monuments.
