Mr. Timothy Shane Beverly, Sr., age 55, of Waycross, died Monday evening (12/24/18) at his residence following a short illness.

Born January 12, 1963 in Gary, Indiana, he was a son of the late Douglas Beverly and Anna Caroline Fletcher Headley. He lived many years in Tampa, Florida before moving to Waycross in 1994. He was a self-employed truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Jean Ellis Beverly; his son, Timothy Shane Beverly, Jr.; a brother, Doug Beverly; and his mother-in-law, Wilma Wilson Ellis.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Hood of Waycross; 3 grandchildren, Christina Hood, Maia Beverly, and Madison Fisher, all of Waycross; his sister, Carla Walizer (husband Richard) of Brandon, FL; his brother, Danny Fletcher (wife Barbara) of Brandon, FL;  his father-in-law, Kenneth Ellis of Waycross; a brother-in-law, Kenny Ellis, Jr. (wife Kristine) of Blackshear; 2 sisters-in-law, Donna Halterman (husband Tracy) of Blackshear and Karen Moshier (husband Dean) of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

I was so blessed to have known and loved the wonderful man he was. I'm here if you ever need to talk. He will always be here in my heart.
