Mr. Daniel Rodman Dell, age 54, of Waycross, passed away Monday morning (5/6/19) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following a short illness.

Born October 20, 1964 in Alma, he had lived most of his life in Ware County. He was a graduate of Ware County High School and had worked for his father at Diamond D’s Auto Sales for several years.  He had also taught at Okefenokee Technical College (now Coastal Pines) and worked as an office manager at Psychological Services of Waycross.  He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Rodman Dell.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Eaton of Kentucky; mother, Linda Varnadore Dell of Waycross; sister, Dana Dell Simpson of Waycross; 2 nieces, Brittany Briola and MaKinsley Revels, both of Waycross; nephew, Zachary Dell of Waycross; a great niece, Logan Meeks of Waycross; and a great nephew, Layton Meeks of Waycross; and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday afternoon (5/8/19) at 2 PM at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

May I offer my sincere condolences. May your hearts find comfort in God's Word where it states: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) May your loved one awaken to a world where there will be peace, no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort and hope in God’s Word, family, friends and good memories at this time. My deepest sympathy to you.
