I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know "Papa Al" meant a lot to my daughter and he adored the twins and everything that he did for them did not go unnoticed.  I have prayed and prayed and although we never understand, God has a plan and I pray that in that plan, He gives you guys peace and understanding.  God Bless and condolences from our family.

There are no words . . . Glen and I are truly heartbroken for all of us who knew and loved him!!  To say he was one of a kind is an understatement . . . he was beyond talented and unbelievably funny!!  Aunt Mandy, Michelle, Tonya, Bobby, Gary, and Tammy as well as all his grandchildren and great grands, my prayer is that the good Lord will be your footprints in the sand to carry you all through this most difficult time!!  Uncle Al was loved beyond measure and there simply are no words to describe how very much he will be missed!!!  Please stay safe during these most unusual times in our history . . . We are sending you all virtual hugs and much love!!!

Aunt Mandy and girls, I am so sorry to hear of this loss. Uncle Al and Aunt Mandy always made us feel entirely welcome at your home and indeed had a genuine “open door policy”.  He will be missed and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Lots of love,

Sabrina and Landon

My friend, Our bucket list included "burning some more chicken". Back in "our" day Al, I thought we made a good team. Thank you for your friendship, support  and yes, love.
Did y'all know, there were two Chet Atkins in the world.  God has them both:  only one of them was called Al. RIP my pal.  Ian

Sending love and prayers to all of Uncle Al’s family. I will miss his humor because it could really catch me off guard:) He was one of a kind, just like his service will be. Even though some of the traditional parts of the service have to be adjusted, I hope everyone feels all the love and support that will be there.
Many blessings,
Jennifer Dorrell
