Mrs. Anita Farrow Crosby, age 70, of Patterson, passed away Sunday night (12/10/23) at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House following an extended illness.
Born September 14, 1953, in Clayton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Phullesser Edge Farrow. She lived most of her life in Vidalia and Patterson and retired from the nuclear power industry. She was a member of Offerman Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Crawford; and a brother, Gerald Farrow.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Crosby of Patterson; 4 children, Patricia Croka of Offerman; James Collins, Jr. (wife Tara) of Vidalia, Troy Crosby (wife Stephanie) of Baxley, and Regina Sutton of Baxley; 10 grandchildren, Tyler Cobb, Jodie Dean (husband Tyler), James Collins (wife Madison), Mina Daughtry (husband Austin), Ava Collins, Kristen Drawdy (husband Hunter), Kandace Crosby, Brandon Crosby (wife Hailey), Matthew Sutton, and Sarah Sutton; 8 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Linda Weeks (husband Larry) of Lake Wales, FL, Edwin Farrow of Vidalia, and Katrina Jones of Lyons; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will take place Saturday (12/16/23) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home. A private entombment will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening (12/15/23) from 6-8 p.m.
