Mrs. Ann Ruth Tippins Clark, age 65, of Blackshear, passed away Monday morning (1/31/22) at her residence following a short illness.
Born April 8, 1956 in Blackshear, she was a daughter of the late Earnest Donald and Margaret Jean McHan Tippins. She had lived most of her life in Pierce County but had lived several years in Tennessee. She was employed as a cook at several restaurants over the years and had also owned and operated Raggedy Ann and Andy’s Restaurant in Waycross.
She was a proud breast cancer survivor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Tippins.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Clark of Pigeon Forge, TN; 2 children, Anna Schroeder (husband Don) of St. Robert, Missouri and Scott Murray of Blackshear; 5 grandchildren, Cayce Murray, Garrett Murray, Mackenzie Murray, Richard King, and Will Shurtliff; 2 great grandchildren, Gabe King and Bailey King; 2 sisters, Margie Cason (husband J.H.) and Marie Whitley of Blackshear; 1 brother, Lamar Tippins (wife Shirley) of Patterson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A visitation will take place on Friday (2/4/22) from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
