Mrs. Barbara “Bobbi” Westberry Davis, age 80, of Patterson, passed away Thursday night following an extended illness.
Born October 26, 1944, in Waycross, she was a daughter of the late Lawton Walker and Macie Tuten Westberry. She lived all her life in Patterson and was a 1962 graduate of Patterson High School. She worked for many years as a beautician and worked as a paraprofessional at Grady Street School and Blackshear Elementary School.
She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Sarah Harris and Gloria Crosby; and 2 brothers, Edward Westberry and Alex Westberry.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Lawton “Buddy” Davis, Jr. of Patterson; 2 children, Cherrie Lynn Pinkerton (husband Daryl) of Waycross and Bernie Lawton Davis (wife Jocelyn) of Marietta; 3 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 1 great granddaughter; 2 sisters, Frankie Murphy (husband Charles) of Brunswick and Charlene Vaughn (husband Tommy) of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place Friday (7/25/25) at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.
