Brad Erin Crews

Mr. Brad Erin Crews, age 50, of Patterson, passed away Tuesday (4/8/2025) in Patterson, Georgia.

Born September 12, 1974, in Waycross, he was a son of Bobby Joel Crews and Charlotte Chancey Thrift. He lived most of his life in Pierce County and was employed with L & L Utilities, Inc in East Dublin, GA. He was a member of Patterson Baptist Church.

Brad had a great love for the outdoors and appreciated the beauty in all of nature. His interests included fishing and gardening, and  he could do anything he put his mind to and do it well. He had a passionate heart for the elderly and animals.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mauldin and Dorothy Chancey with whom he had a special bond; and paternal grandparents, J.L. and Myrtle Crews.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Ty Crews of Gainesville, FL; mother, Charlotte Chancey Thrift of Blackshear; father and stepmother, Bobby and Patty Crews of Patterson; 2 sisters, Shawn Crews Smith of Blackshear and Jena Crews of Patterson; brother, Bryan M. Crews of Patterson; 4 nieces, Parker Smith, Addison Smith, Aly Crews, and Angelee Crews; 2 aunts, Mary Lou Higginbotham of Dinsmore, FL and Betty Crews of Screven; 2 uncles, Stanley Crews of Waycross and Lowell King of Starke, FL; special friends, Kirk Lewis of Dublin, Hank Steverson of Dublin, Michele Douberly of Patterson; and several cousins and other relatives.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
