Mr. Buddy Wayne Peacock, age 64, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday afternoon (5/19/22) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following a short illness.
Born December 10, 1957 in Waycross, he was a son of Mrs. Barbara Ethell Peacock Thornton. He lived all of his life in Pierce and Ware Counties and was retired from T & T Fencing Co, Inc in Waycross. He was a member of Youmans Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cameron Peacock; and his grandmother, Carrie Thomas.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Jessica Torres of Waycross and Jaimie Peacock of Blackshear; mother, Ethell Thornton of Blackshear; 6 grandchildren, Caleb Peacock of Atlanta, Christian Castillo of Tifton, Madison Dryden, Eli Brazell, and Bentley Dryden, all of Blackshear, and Carlos Torres of Waycross; aunt and uncle, Faye and Dale Minchew of Blackshear; special friends, Greggory Batten and Kaleb Altman; and several cousins and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday (5/26/22) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Gunter officiating.
