Mrs. Carla Necole Holton Gardner, age 54, of Waycross, passed away Sunday morning (8/29/21) at her residence following an extended illness.
Born December 20, 1966 in Waycross, she was a lifelong resident of Ware County. She was a 1985 graduate of Ware County High School and had work for most of her life in the restaurant business as a waitress. She had worked for several years at Ryan’s and Cracker Barrell and had attended Remnant Church in Waycross.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Carletta Rowell Brookshire; a sister, Tracy Lane Walker; and her grandparents, Rufus and Alice Holton and Margaret “Cleo” Carey.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica and Quinn Kicklighter and Jennifer and Aubrey Cason, all of Blackshear; her father, Jim Holton (wife Shirley) of Blackshear; sister, Brandy Spates (husband Justin) of Blackshear; 2 brothers, James “Ricky” Miller of Waycross and Zack Holton (wife Melanie) of Blackshear; her special furry companion, Tee Tee; her grandpups, Brutus, Bentley, Hamilton, and Hazyl; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place Thursday afternoon (9/2/21) at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
