Mrs. Debra Darlene Johnson Altman, age 56, of Waycross, passed away early Thursday morning (3/24/22) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following a short illness.
Born March 5, 1966 in Blackshear, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Harry Johnson and Elizabeth Betty Hall Mobley. She had lived most of her life in Pierce and Ware Counties and had worked as a clerk for Flash Foods.
Survivors include her son, Brooks Ronald Green III of Waycross; 4 brothers, David Johnson (wife Sandra) of Dunoon, Scotland, Wayne Williams (wife Renee) of Estill, S.C., James Williams of Pennsylvania, and Ben Williams of Waycross; her aunts and uncles, Alvin Johnson (wife Betty) of Patterson, Linnie Arpen (husband Ron) of Jacksonville, FL, Louise Register (husband Gene) of Homerville, GA, Lee Johnson (wife MaryAnn) of San Antonio, TX, Clyde Johnson (wife Brenda) of Blackshear, Kate Johnson of Jacksonville, FL, Annie Belle Griffis (husband Sid) of Blackshear, and Marie Johnson of Patterson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorialization is by cremation.
