Mrs. Debra Lee Corbitt Sauls, age 61, of Patterson, passed away late Tuesday night (10/15/2024) at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah following an extended illness.
Born June 25, 1963, in Waycross, she was a daughter of the late David Edward and Angeline Corbitt. She lived most of her life in Ware and Pierce Counties and had worked as a seamstress at Julie Hat Company, a cashier at Country Boys Mini Mall, and at Baptist Village.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Melton.
Survivors includer her husband of 44 years, Billy Sauls of Patterson; 6 children, James Sauls, Lewis Sauls, Cheryl Burch (husband Elisha), Gloria Corbitt, Glenda Leggett, and Ray Sauls (wife Ciera); 3 grandchildren, James Sauls, Alexis Sauls, and Alaina Sauls; a great granddaughter, Scarlett Sauls; two brothers, David Nelson Corbitt and Gary Davis; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place on Friday (11/1/2024) at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home with Bishop R.B. Gaskins officiating.
