Eva Lillian White

Eva Lillian “Mama Lynn” White, 75 of Waycross passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Harborview Health Systems in Blackshear after an extended illness. She was born August 11, 1945 to the late Mr. Roscoe and Arvada (Phillips) Cumbie in Quincy. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School and later worked for the Department of Corrections in both Florida and Georgia and finished at the top of her basic recruit academy. “Mama Lynn”, as she was affectionately known, had a big heart and a giving spirit. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, and attending church services and revivals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: Mr. Edward Elkin White.

She leaves behind to cherish the years of memories: her children: Jeff (Brandy Price) Carman, Kim (Denise Forehand) Carman, Edward (Glenda) White, Buddy (Kathy) White, Christina White, and Crystal Lee; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Flat Creek Cemetery, Greensboro, Florida. The family will be receiving friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
