In loving memory, we enter into God’s hands on August 9, 2026, “Gene” Paul Paschal, age 88, born in Anderson, Indiana on June 13, 1938. He spent his final years in Patterson and passed away in his sleep at home. He was the son of Herman and Ann Paschal, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Jerry Paschal and sister, Patricia Hensley.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Janna, Carla, Karen, and Robin; his children, Gene “Paul” Paschal (Nicci) of Offerman, Renae Paschal of Jesup, Tina, Jon, Gene III “Pete”, Gena Rae, Sherri, and Lord knows how many others that he has claim to as he loved children (and women), several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, his cousin Carol Ann who was like a sister to him, and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
He was proud to have served in the United States Air Force, wandered the world on adventures, was a plumber by trade and a hoot to be around. Sassy and seasoned, loved by many, cussed by some, but never forgettable by any, he will be sorely missed by all that he enlightened, especially his little princess “Pumpkin”, his furry 3-legged lap cleaner whom he adored.
A Celebration of Life will be announced later, but the family would like to sincerely thank his beloved Visiting Angels, and Hospice of South Georgia for unfailing love and care for him and his family.
