Mr. George Leo Buck III, age 62, of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday afternoon (3/4/2020) at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born August 21, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio, he was a son of the late George Leo Buck II and Gladys Lucille Moriarty Buck. He lived most of his life in Ohio but enjoyed staying at his retirement home in Pierce County in the winters. He was an equipment operator and foreman for Allied Paving in Holland, Ohio. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David Buck and Infant Charles Buck.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Buck of Holland, Ohio; 3 daughters, Jean Farnham (husband Jeff) of Toledo, Ohio, Sara Skirvin (husband Mike) of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Amber Buck of Toledo, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Payton Bailey, Elizabeth Bailey, and Tyan Skirvin; his stepmom, Phyllis Buck of Blackshear; 2 sisters, Susan Turner (husband Donald) and Linda Rooks (husband Tim), both of Toledo; 3 brothers, Donald Buck, Tom Buck (wife Lou Ann), and Christopher Buck (wife Lisa), all of Toledo; his step brothers, Kirk Cutright (wife Ginger) of Nevada, Timothy Cutright of Toledo, Ohio, and Jeff Cutright (wife Linda) of Springfield, Ohio; his step sister, Kim Kladis of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will take place Saturday morning (3/7/20) at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home with Father Bob Cushing officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
