Mr. Gregory Lawrence Mudd, Jr., age 78, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away Thursday morning (6/12/2025) at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida following an extended illness.
Born August 21, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a son of the late Gregory Lawrence Mudd, Sr. and Mary Laverne Mudd. He lived many years in Missouri and served in the United States Air Force. He retired as a computer programmer for Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Jason O’Quinn.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Lynn Moore Mudd of Hahira; daughter, Jessica Arico; stepdaughter, Jennifer O’Quinn Simpson; 3 grandchildren, Eli, Monica, and Matthew; 2 sisters, Gwen Neighbors and Mary Beth Hinrichs; a niece, Alice Neighbors Berryman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dennis and Debbie Moore and Kay and Bobby Buie; and several other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
