Huldah Ruth (Floyd) Altman

Mrs. Huldah Ruth Floyd Altman, age 67, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday evening (10/8/23) at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, Georgia following a short illness.

Born November 3, 1955, in Jesup, she lived all over south Georgia before moving to Pierce County in 1987. She was retired as a CNA at the Pierce County Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Regina Altman.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Carl Altman of Blackshear; 3 children, Angela Starling (husband Frank), Christopher Altman (Danielle Batten), and Carl Altman, Sr. (wife Sue), all of Blackshear; a daughter-in-law, Chris Presley of Blackshear; 11 grandchildren, James Sandusky, Samantha Sandusky, Brady Starling, Hunter Altman, Mason Altman, Junior Altman, Cheyenne Altman, Emily Altman, Jacque Griffin, Kelsea McGuire, Felicity Altman; 6 great grandchildren; and several other relatives.

A graveside funeral service will take place Wednesday morning (10/11/23) at 11 a.m. at the Blackshear City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
