Mr. Jason Wayne O'Quinn, age 42, of Canton, Georgia (formerly of Blackshear), passed away Saturday (4/9/22) in Delaware County, Pennsylvania following a short illness.
Born August 4, 1979 in Waycross, Georgia, he was a son of Mr. Wayne O’Quinn and Mrs. Martha Moore Mudd. He grew up in Blackshear and was a 1997 graduate of Pierce County High School. He attended Georgia Southern College obtaining his Bachelor Electrical Engineering degree. He was a Project Manager for United Parcel Service (UPS).
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlton and Peggy Moore, Jim and Dolly Morgan, and an uncle and aunt, Russell and Bobbie O’Quinn.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Martha and Greg Mudd of Hahira, GA; father, Wayne O’Quinn of Blackshear; sister, Jennifer O’Quinn Simpson of Blackshear; nephew, Matthew Simpson of Carrolton, GA; aunts and uncles, Elaine and Stanley Moody, Donna and Frank Tanner, and Dennis and Debbie Moore, all of Blackshear, and Kay and Bobby Buie of Waycross; and several cousins and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
