Joyce Lee (Trieschman) Lynn

Mrs. Joyce Lee Trieschman Lynn, age 84, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday afternoon (11/28/23) at Harborview Pierce following an extended illness.

Born June 24, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary E. Trieschman. She lived most of her life in Maryland before moving to Blackshear in 2005. She had worked many years as a music executive and then as the office manager for the YMCA.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blackshear.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Lynn, Sr. and her sister, Shirley Elizabeth Ruehl.

Survivors include her niece Robin Ruark (husband Todd) and their daughter Hannah; nephew, Chuck Ruehl (wife Donna); stepdaughter, Mary Elizabeth Thompson (husband William James III); 3 grandchildren, Emily Lynn Thompson, William James Thompson IV, and Jenna Elieen Thompson; and several other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
