Justin David King

Mr. Justin David King, age 38, of Waycross, passed away Wednesday morning (4/29/2026) at his residence following a brief illness.  

Born November 29, 1987, in Waycross, he was the son of William David King, Jr. and Pamela James King. He had lived all his life in Waycross and was employed by Kroger as a cook. Mr. King was of the Christian faith. 

Mr. King is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard G. and Bobbie James; paternal grandparents, William David King, Sr. and Delores King; and his father-in-law, Jr. Sapp. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Ashley Nicole Sapp King of Waycross; 3 children, Elijah David King, Annaliese Sapp, and Kyle Sapp of Waycross; a sister, Alexis Beverly (husband Nick) of Waycross; mother-in-law, Charlotte Sapp of Waycross; nieces and nephews, Drew, Emmy, KK, Russell, and Josie of Waycross; an aunt, Janet McCarty (husband Jeff) of Waycross; an uncle, Glenn James (wife Darlene) of Waycross; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
