Mrs. Linda Ann Denison Boyette, age 63, of Patterson, passed away Tuesday evening (9/12/23) at St. Josephs/Candler Hospital in Savannah following an extended illness.
Born December 31, 1959, in Blackshear, she was a daughter of George Claton Denison, Sr. and the late Jo Ann Hand Denison. Living most of her life in Pierce County, she was a 1978 graduate of Patterson High School and was a longtime housewife.
She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and had also been a member of Offerman Baptist Church. She had served as the Vacation Bible School Director, a Sunday School Teacher, sang in the choir, and in many other ministries in her churches.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Hand Denison.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Lamar Boyette of Patterson; 2 sons, Michael Boyette (wife Harlee) of Hoboken and Mitchell Boyette (wife Jordyn) of Odum; 2 grandchildren, Mia Boyette and Hadlee Jane Boyette and another expected soon; father, Claton Denison of Patterson; sister, Priscilla Gares (husband Michael) of Blackshear; brother, George Denison, Jr. (wife Suzanne) of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins and other relatives.
A funeral service will take place Saturday morning (9/16/23) at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening (9/15/23) from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
