Mrs. Lisa Ann Spell Nipper, age 57, of Blackshear, died Friday morning at her residence following an extended illness.
Born July 8, 1963 in Alma, Georgia, she was a daughter of Albert Lenton and Audrey Faye Spell. She grew up and lived in Bacon County before moving to Blackshear in the 1980’s. She was a housewife and of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Tristin Carter; a sister, Mary Marie Spell Steed; her maternal grandparents, Doris and Thetus Rewis; and her paternal grandparents, Mary Spell, Vernice Lee Spell, and PJ Cothern.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Nipper of Blackshear; her children, Hunter Nipper of Blackshear, Lance Nipper of Blackshear, Michael Carter (fiancé Maria Lease) of Lexington, SC, and Beth Carter of Blackshear; a daughter-in-law, Sara Rhodes Nipper of Blackshear; 5 step children; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her parents, Albert Lenton and Audrey Faye Rewis Spell of Alma; sister, Sherry Spell Tanner of Alma; 3 brothers, Stevie Lenton Spell (Brenda Gail Ingram), Danny G Spell (wife Diane), and Curtis Albert “Pete” Spell (wife Sheila), all of Alma; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place Monday afternoon (6/7/21) at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
