Madison Lloyd, III Obituary

Mr. Madison Henry Lloyd III, age 70, of Millwood, passed away Sunday morning (10/25/20) at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House following an extended illness.

Madison was born July 22, 1950 in Savannah, Georgia to Gertrude Rhodes Lloyd and the late Madison Henry Lloyd, Jr. He moved to Ware County, GA as a child and chose Ware County as his lifelong residence. He attended Ware County Schools through his junior year.  He attended Georgia Cumberland Academy his senior year where he earned his High School Diploma.

Madison was an active member of the Waycross Seventh Day Adventist Church until his illness prevented him from being able to attend any longer. However, he continued to be faithful to his precious Heavenly Father by listening to the Scriptures being read to him and passed away peacefully during one of those times.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gloria Johns Lloyd; son, Madison H. Lloyd, IV (wife Donna); 2 daughters;  Dana Lloyd Steedley and Kristy Lloyd Chancey (husband Josh); 2 step-daughters;  Christy Carpenter (husband Michael ); Candi Walker (husband Richie); 9 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild; 1 sister, Brenda Lloyd Spradley (husband Van); 1 sister-in-law, Sheri McDonald (husband Kenny); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Due to COVID-19, no public service will be held.
