Malcolm Thomas Henderson, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 6, 1942 to the late Hulda O’Berry and Malcolm Lacount Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Wilburt O’Berry; his brothers, Pete Murray and Buck Murray and his sisters, Infant Nellie Elaine Henderson, Virginia M. Hendry and Waunel M. Hall.
After graduating from Blackshear High School in 1960, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy for four years. After his military service, he lived and worked in Atlanta, Waycross, Alma, Brunswick and Augusta for periods of time.
His favorite pasttimes were reading, fishing and travel.
Survivors include his daughters, Marla Henderson and Kerry Henderson; one granddaughter, Kayla; a sister, Mary Callahan, his former wife and the mother of his children, Peggy Henderson and several nieces and nephews.
A private interment service for immediate family will be held at a later date in the Blackshear Cemetery.
