Mrs. Mandy Durrance Snider, age 75, of Blackshear, passed away Friday morning (1/15/21) at the Bacon County Hospital following an extended illness.

She was a faithful and active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear where she also enjoyed attending Sunday school and the Saints of Joy events.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Al Snider; 2 sisters, Faye Roberson and Betty Herrin; and 5 brothers, T.J. Durrance, Tommy Durrance, Ray Durrance, Freddie Durrance, and Leon Durrance.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya Snider Chancey (husband Karl) of Blackshear and Michelle Thomas (husband Kevin) of Bickley; 3 step-children, Gary Snider of Shelton, Washington, Bobby Snider of Billings, Montana, and Tammy Malcolm of Billings, Montana; grandchildren, Cody Simmons (Brittney) of Blackshear, Ty Thomas (Taylor), Tuff Thomas, and Tater Thomas of Bickley, Kendra Erven (Jimmy) of Ridgecrest, California; 8 great grandchildren, Brayden Thomas, Piper and Presley Thomas, Raylen Tolbert, and Lincoln, Ronen, and Luna Erven; 3 special “chosen” grandchildren, Travis Sweat, Maddox McAlpin, and Cameron Norman; 2 sisters, Debbie Turner (husband Ronnie) and Bobbie Anderson, both of Blackshear; and many special nieces, nephews, and other relatives that she loved very much.
A funeral service will take place on Monday (1/18/21) at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
