Mary Elizabeth (Hazel) Hand

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hand, age 85, of Henrico County, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday (1/8/22) after an extended illness.

Born October 1, 1936 in Miami, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Philathea Hazel.  She was a member of Fort Lee Baptist Church, Henrico, VA

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Judson W. Hand; 2 sons, JW Hand and David Hand, and her brother, Clyde Hazel.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Susan Hand Henderson (Rick Henderson) and Amy Hand Seiy (Joe Burnette); 14 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Fort Lee Baptist Church in Henrico, VA.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday morning (1/15/22) at 10 a.m. at Patterson Cemetery in Patterson, Georgia. 

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the church of one’s choice.
