Mrs. Mary Virginia Signorelli Sbory, age 92, of Waycross, passed away Tuesday morning (10/22/19) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following an extended illness.
She was born June 9, 1927 to the late Peter and Anna Signorelli. She grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Buchtel High School. She lived in Miramar, Florida and Cooper City, Florida before moving to Waycross to be near family in June 2019. She was retired as a loan officer for Barnett Bank in Davie, Florida.
She was a longtime member of St. David’s Catholic Church in Davie, Florida but was currently a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waycross.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nicholas Sbory; and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her 3 children, Kathy Hunter (husband Edward) of Blackshear, Cynthia Dunn (husband James) of Ft. Worth, TX, and James Politz of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Raulerson (husband Michael) of Blackshear, Carrie Marrow (husband John) of Ft. Lauderdale, Christopher Hunter (Gail Hernandez) of Murphy, N.C., Alexander Politz of Ft. Lauderdale, Patrick Dunn of Ft. Worth, TX and James Dunn of Dallas, TX; 4 great grandchildren, Ashley Roache (fiancé Lewis Martinez) of Blackshear, Ryan Baronas of Ft. Lauderdale, Hunter Raulerson of Blackshear, and Sarah Dunn of Ft. Worth, TX; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral mass will take place on Friday (10/25/19) at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waycross.
