Mrs. Nadine Elizabeth Patterson Johnson, age 67, of Blackshear, passed away late Tuesday night (7/19/22) surrounded by her loving family at her residence following an extended illness.
Born January 21, 1955, in Screven, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late James Edward and Bessie Mae Frazier Doomes. She grew up in Screven and moved to Pierce County around 1980. She was a longtime housewife and a member of New Gates of Joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Doomes.
Survivors include her 4 children, Chad Doomes of Screven, Angel Merday (husband Rodrick) of Waycross, Shontell Johnson of Blackshear, and Johnny Johnson, Jr. of Brunswick; 10 grandchildren, Untereus Johnson, Janesea Sharpe, Alesea Sharpe, Jaden Johnson, Brent Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Jace Johnson, Johnny Johnson, III, Junazsha Johnson, and Lamaria Carter; 2 great grandchildren, Chloe Johnson and Cole Harris; father of her children, Johnny Johnson, Sr. of Blackshear; 5 sisters, Lawanda Faye Booth of Screven, Maggie Doomes of Screven, Lorann Doomes of Waycross, Teresa Doomes of Waycross, Valerie Lott (husband Dawayne) of Blackshear; a sister-in-law, Gail Mann (husband Warren) of Blackshear; and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday (7/23/22) at 3 p.m. at her residence at 2885 Piney Grove Road, Blackshear, Georgia 31516.
