Naomi (Bratcher) Wilson

Mrs. Naomi Bratcher Wilson, age 68, of Blackshear, passed away Saturday night (12/7/2024) at Harborview Satilla following an extended illness.

Born January 11, 1956, in Screven, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Bratcher and Gladys Roland Overstreet. She lived most of her life in Ware and Pierce Counties and was a longtime housewife. She was also a talented woodworker and painter, having several of her artwork on display in various businesses and galleries.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Marie Rentz; and all her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include 4 children, Lisa Marie Rentz Merine (husband Charles) of Cecil, GA, Teresa Diane Rentz Conner (husband Terry) of Young Harris, GA, Meredith Lee Grover, Jr. of Blackshear, and Marlana Grover Cason (husband Chris) of Blackshear; grandchildren, Autumn Odum (husband Kye, Brianna Dowling (husband Trevor), Hayden Cason (wife Hayleigh), Brandon Rentz, Chase Rentz, Matthew Gay, Morgan Gay, Mason Gay, Dawson Lee Grover, and Caleb Rentz; 4 great grandchildren, Jackson Lee Odum, Cordelia Dowling Huxton Dowling, and Hartleigh Dowling; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private graveside service will take place at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Scuffletown.
