Randy Scott Patterson

Mr. Randy Scott Patterson, age 37, of Blackshear, went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2022, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah following a stroke.

Born June 17, 1985, in Newport Kentucky, he was a son of Randy Scott and Rosemary Patterson Akers.  He married his wife, Amanda Carol Woodall Patterson on October 18, 2004 and moved to Pierce County in November 2004.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived and will be missed by his parents, Randy and Rosemary Patterson Akers of Newport, KY; half-brother, Gary Patterson of Kentucky; his aunts and uncles, Darren Akers, Amy Akers, Don Akers, John Patterson, and Larry Patterson, all of Kentucky and Mike Akers of North Carolina; his in-laws, Jerrell and Rosanna Watkins of Blackshear and Jeffery and Cheryl Woodall of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother-in-law, Bryan Watkins of Metter, GA; 2 cousins, Sonya Earls and Summer Earls of Northern Kentucky (of the Akers Family); the Watkins family of Blackshear, the Akers family of Kentucky, and the Patterson family of West Virginia; and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will take place Friday (8/5/22) at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home with Pastor Nathaniel J. Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Pierce County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hart Funeral Home to offset funeral costs.
