Richard Harrison Obituary

Mr. Richard Lee Harrison, age 74, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday (12/29/20) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born August 20, 1946 in Screven, GA, he was a son of the late Malcolm and Lillian Tippins Harrison. He lived most of his life in Pierce County and was retired as a welder for Custom Hydraulics in Mershon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Highsmith Harrison; a sister, Mary Phillips; and his brothers, Mack Harrison, Jr. and Philip Charles Harrison.

Survivors include his daughter, Jeanette Harrison of Blackshear; two sons, Richard L. Harrison, Jr. (Evon Strawder) of Patterson and Jimmy Dale Harrison of Blackshear; a granddaughter, Kay-Lee Raine Harrison of Patterson; a sister and brother-in law, Gail and Pete Lanier of Blackshear; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Memorialization is by cremation.
