Robert Allen Cox

Mr. Robert Allen Cox, age 69, of Waycross, passed away Monday (9/2/2024) at his residence following a short illness.

Born May 29, 1955, in Waycross, he was a son of Beverly Ruth Lotz Cox and the late Jasper Roan Cox, Jr.  He grew up in Colville, Washington and graduated from Colville High School in 1973. He also lived in Portland, Oregon before returning to Waycross in 2002. He had worked as a sales representative for a diamond wholesale company and was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Colleen Cox James; and a brother, James Cox.

Survivors include his 3 children, Ryan Cox of Buckeye, AZ, Shawn Cox (wife Sara) of San Diego, CA;, and Rachel Cox of Yakima, WA; 6 grandchildren, Christian Cox, Jaxon Cox, Cruz Cox, Dylan Elliott, Clover Cruz, and Carmine Cruz; mother, Beverly Cox of Waycross; sister, Cynthia Haslam (husband Dan) of Everett, WA; 2 brothers, Randall Cox (wife Shelly) of Waycross and David Cox (wife Jennifer) of Brazil; and many loved nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside funeral service will take place Thursday (9/12/24) at 10 a.m. at Kettle Creek Cemetery with Rev. Chris Roberts officiating.
