Mr. Robert Dale “Rabbit” Morgan, age 74, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday night (4/27/21) at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House following an extended illness.
Born May 6, 1946 in Ware County, he was a son of the late Robert and Allie Mae Morgan. He had lived most of his life in Waycross and Blackshear and was a retired brick mason.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Reese Mae Morgan, and brother, Dewitt Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara McCellan Morgan; 2 sons, Daniel Morgan (wife Diane) and Kermit Morgan, both of Waycross; a step daughter, LeeAnn Morgan of Blackshear; special friend, Bertha Chaney of Blackshear; 3 grandchildren, Baylee Morgan and Bentley Morgan, both of Waycross and Brooklyn Warren of Blackshear; 3 sisters-in-law, Becky Jones (husband Curtis), Brenda Griner, and Gina Leggett (husband Timothy) all of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
