Ronald "Ronnie" Howard Haire

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Howard Haire, age 69, of Patterson, passed away early Thursday morning (12/25/2025) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born July 25, 1956, in Miami, Florida, he was a son of the late Jessie Lee “Buddy” Haire and Lena Emelyn Sweat Walker.  He lived most of his life in Pierce County and was a 1974 graduate of Blackshear High School. He was a longtime millwright at Gilman Building Products, retiring in 2019.

He was a member of Hacklebarney Baptist Church.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and doing anything outdoors.  He enjoyed working and helping others, and spending time with his family who he dearly loved.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdad, Willie Winaford “Winnie” Walker; an infant daughter; a brother, John David Haire; a stepbrother, Freddie Walker; a stepsister, Marcelle Bennett; and his mother-in-law, Norris Evelyn Sapp.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Denise Sapp Haire of Patterson; 3 daughters, Monica Waters (husband Kenny) 0f Patterson, Margo Panning (husband Nick) of Offerman, and Mindy Winn (husband Bryant) of Patterson; 10 grandchildren, Brianna Waters, Carrie Waters, Matthew Panning, Maddie Panning, Brooklyn Panning, Bentley Panning, Evy Thrift, Coley Thirft, Zachary Winn, and Zoe Winn; 2 great grandchildren, Oaklynn Reed and Trevyn Reed; 5 siblings, Robert Lee Haire of Waycross, Roy Evan Walker of Patterson, Brenda Diane Sparks of Hortense, Michael Haire of Ft. Lauderdale, and Ricky Haire of Ft. Lauderdale; father-in-law, James “Cotton” Sapp of Patterson; brother-in-law, Eddie Sapp of Patterson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will take place on Sunday afternoon (12/28/25) at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday one hour prior to the service.

A graveside service will take place on Monday morning at 11 a.m. at Laura Chapel Cemetery.
