Seth Walter Proctor

Mr. Seth Walter Proctor, age 21 of Blackshear, passed away Saturday (2/13/21) in Rockford Illinois.

Born April 28, 1999 in Brunswick, GA, he was a son of William Ashley Proctor and Elizabeth Ann Corbitt Sauls. He grew up in Brunswick and in Wyoming but had lived the past couple of years in Blackshear. He was employed with Payne’s Group.

Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Lonnie Gene “Yeller” Corbitt; a great grandfather, Lee Davis; and great grandparents, Ward and Dorothy Proctor.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Ann and Randy Sauls of Blackshear; father, Ashley Proctor of Brunswick; 3 brothers, his twin, Ryhan Proctor of Wyoming, Christian Proctor of Brunswick, and Aiden Hurles of Blackshear; 2 sisters, LeAnn Sauls and Linsey Sauls, both of Blackshear; grandparents, Vickie Hendrix of Nahunta, Jerry and JoAnne Miller of Brunswick, and Robert and Louise Sauls of Blackshear; great grandmother, Betty Davis of Atkinson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A funeral service will take place Thursday morning (2/25/21) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery in Lulaton, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
