Shirley Ruth (Winters) Wagner

Mrs. Shirley Ruth (Winters) Wagner, age 84, of Patterson passed away Saturday morning (8/14/21) at the Satilla Hospice House in Waycross, GA after developing then battling pneumonia for the past couple of months.

Born July 18, 1937 in Hershey, PA. Shiley was a daughter of the late Ray and wonderful mother Maude Ruhl Miller Winters.  She had lived in PA for many years before moving to Pierce County around 2001.  While she was always Mother first, then wife, homemaker and employed by PA State in-home care, she gave her life experiences freely as 12 years as President of Pierce County Senior Center. She was truly the most loving and caring BAMOAT you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Howard Wagner, Sr.; a daughter, Catherine Reis; an infant son, David Wagner; and siblings, Charlotte Heffner, Donald Winters, Homer Winters, Dale Winters, Robert Winters, Larry Winters, and Joyce Sigafoos. 

Survivors include her 5 children, Ricci Wagner (wife Donna) of Killeen, KY, Vickey Parkerson (husband Frank) of Baxley, Clinton Wagner, Jr. (wife Barbara) of Offerman, Virginia Dixon (husband Ricky) of Patterson, and Richard Wagner of Kinney, TX; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Shutt (husband Joe) of Hershey, PA; a brother, Ronald Winters of Middletown, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Memorialization is by cremation.
