Mrs. Susan Louise Purrington Puthoff, age 74, of Patterson, passed away Sunday morning (8/8/21) at her residence in Patterson following a short illness.
Born November 2,1946 in Mojave, California, she was the daughter of the late Everett Leon Purrington and Eva Lois Carnegie Fichtel. Her favorite jobs were that of Mom and Grandma. She moved to Patterson in 2010 and had worked as a substitute teacher for the Pierce County and Bacon County School Systems.

She was an avid animal lover, integral in creating the Pierce County Animal Shelter, and a dedicated and faithful member of the Patterson United Methodist Church.
