Terry Lynn (Porter) Abt

Mrs. Terry Lynn Porter Abt, age 61, of Patterson, passed away Wednesday morning (5/29/2024) at Hospice of South Georgia in Jesup following an extended illness.

Born May 5, 1963, in Orange, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Brice Monroe and Cynthia Ann Erickson Porter.  She grew up in New Jersey and Massachusetts and lived most of her life in Florida before moving to Pierce County in November 2023. She had worked as a retail manager for Roses and was also a freelance artist.

Survivors include her son, Scott Myers of South Bay, FL; 3 brothers, Eric Porter of Umatilla, FL, Patrick Porter of Archer, FL, and Karl M. Porter of Altoona, FL; a niece, Sara Tyre of Patterson; and several other relatives.

Memorialization is by cremation.
