Mr. Terry Eugene Williamson, age 60, of Offerman, passed away early Sunday morning (6/23/24) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following an extended illness.
Born December 22, 1963, in Waycross, he was a son of the late Robert G. Williamson, Sr. and Mary Colleen Bowen Williamson. He lived all his life in Pierce County and was a 1982 graduate of Pierce County High School. He worked several years with Pierce Timber but then started Williamson Enterprises in 1990. He was a member of Offerman Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Williamson Bowers; grandparents, Colon Henry and Minnie Lee Aspinwall Williamson and Leonard Augustus and Angie Lena Sweat Bowen; and his good friend, Cameron Lee.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashton Williamson Poole (Trent Strickland) of Mershon; 3 grandchildren, Adalyn Poole, Hance Strickland, and Stella Strickland; sister, Glenda Potter of Blackshear; brother, Bobby Williamson (wife Virginia) of Offerman; brother-in-law, Craig Bowers (wife Traci) of Offerman; nieces and nephews, Traci (Lee) Howard of Patterson, Kaley (Dennis) Bargeron of Screven, Glenn (Kristi) Williamson of Dallas, TX, and Candi Potter of Little Rock, AR; and several great nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will take place Thursday afternoon (6/27/24) at 4 p.m. at Offerman Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Offerman Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
