Mrs. Tonya Lynn King Williams, age 49, of Hoboken, passed away Tuesday (8/24/21) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following an extended illness.
Born January 11, 1972 in Blackshear, she was a daughter of Susan Smith King and the late William Barnwell “Buddy” King. She grew up in Pierce County and had lived in Brantley County for the past 19 years. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Bradley “Brad” Hendrix, paternal grandparents, Alma and Hamp Crosby King; maternal grandparents, Blaney and Alene Crawford Smith; and her in-laws, Gary and Annette Williams.
Survivors include her husband, David Williams; 4 children, Brittany Williams (Zach Chancey) of Hoboken, Curtis King (Taylor) of Waycross, Gaven Williams (Sarah) of Hoboken, and Levi Williams (Adrianna Fisk) of Hoboken; 3 grandchildren and one addition on the way, Conner Denton, Caylee Denton, and Gwendolyn Williams; her mother, Susan Smith King of Blackshear; 2 sisters, Karen King and Paula McCauley (husband Lindsey), both of Blackshear; brother-in-law, Jonathan Keith Williams (wife Michelle) of Macon; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
