Violet Kathleen (Schwitters) Krayenhagen

Mrs. Violet Kathleen Schwitters Krayenhagen, age 94, of Blackshear, passed away Monday afternoon (1/13/25) at her residence following an extended illness.

Born May 10, 1930, in Wall Lake, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Katherine Steinblock Schwitters. She grew up in Iowa and lived most of her life in California and Washington before moving to Pierce County in June 2024.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Arthur Krayenhagen; and all her siblings.

Survivors include 4 children, Everett Danial Krayenhagen of Virginia, Lyla Kathleen Krayenhagen of Blackshear, Jacklynn Marie Krayenhagen of Michigan, and William Krayenhagen; 2 grandchildren, Andy and David Krayenhagen; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
